From the Pastor's Desk, Rev. Tony Boss

 

Greetings on behalf of the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Hillsborough, North Carolina. We are so thankful first to God for His grace and mercy which are new everyday. He has blessed us immensely and our soul does magnify the Lord.  We greet each of you today in the divine love and fellowship of Jesus Christ our Lord in whom we live, and move and have our very being.  

 

My favorite scripture is, "I can do all things thou Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 and that scripture is true for all of us.  There is nothing that we cannot accomplish together if we all garner the belief that through Christ we can do all things.  As we unite together in love and fellowship, let us agree to work together in Christian love and stand together on one accord.  It takes the love of Jesus Christ to make it and He left us with two very important commandments which are to, Love the Lord our God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind, this is the first and greatest commandment and a second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.  Matthew 22:37-39.  It is not alway easy to love but through Christ we can love which will lead to forgiveness, peace and restoration.

 

This love walk will require dedication and sacrifice as we work together in unity only then will we be able to build upon the foundation which was laid by those who have gone on before us.  We will be able to stand on the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ our Lord.

 

As Pastor of this great Church, I am committed to forge ahead in Love as we all press toward the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus our Lord.  We will stand on the promises of God knowing that as we unite in Him,our victory and success is assured.  We will support and lift up each other in the Name of the Lord and we will plant seeds of LOVE and work the LOVE of Christ in our lives and watch the LOVE work for us.
